I created prints from the inside of the quilt fragment by sandwiching it between two inked flexible plates. Opening the plates, I gently removed the quilt fragment and printed from each plate.

Please describe your printmaking process.: First I cast a pharmaceutical gelatin plate. Using transparent acrylic ink which is very sensitive to texture and detail, I create images using plant material and found (mostly manufactured) objects. The images and colors are layered and interrelated. .

Please describe your printmaking process.: I first draw on the block of wood/carve it. I then inked the block/printed it. I then cut out the part of the buildings I wished to use. I have a lot of papers I have monotype printed on. ( colors, shapes, etc.) I went through the printed papers and choice ones I want to use. I glue everything.
