A plain lexan plate (8.5x8.5 in) was inked a solid color, then a trace monotype drawing was created on a sheet of lightweight paper. The ink/image that was left behind on the plate (the "negative trace") was then printed with an etching press to another sheet of heavier rag paper for this entry.
